Each summer, the Levitate Music and Arts Festival attracts tens of thousands of concertgoers, bringing business not only to the Marshfield-owned company but to the local art and food vendors who participate. For one local company this year, the festival’s impact was felt deep into the heart of winter.
SlackTide Coffee Roasters, which opened last summer in the expanded Levitate Surf Shop Space on Ocean Street, recently launched a wildly successful collaboration with reggae band Stick Figure borne from a meeting backstage at the 2019 iteration. The band, a fixture of the annual festival’s stage, will headline this year alongside Jack Johnson and Phil Lesh & Friends.
